Prostate Problems: Prostate Treatment and Diagnosis

The prostate is a walnut sized gland situated below the bladder, in front of the rectum and behind the pubic bone. It is closely linked with the urinary system, because it encircles the water passage-urethra like a collar. It secretes much of the liquid portion of the seminal fluid that nourishes the sperm. Seminal vesicles also contribute to the seminal fluid and are just behind and above the prostate gland. Prostate starts enlarging after the age of 40 and symptoms vary from man to man. Find out more about the prostate gland and how to keep it healthy here
